What is the difference between FTE and EC model ?

In which document(say 129 etc), does this is specified?

What are document required in case of EC model for VISA stamp ?

EC is also a FTE, but here in forums FTE is an employee who works for the same company who spospors his/her h1 (no deployment to client locations). In EC the money is paid by the services you render at client's office. EC- Common example would be IT offshore companies placing employees at client locations.

I don't think client relation is documented in I-129. There is Service agreement you can carry between your employer and Client (sometimes called MSA). Also client letter or a letter that says client is not able to issue such letter could be helpful. I think, your company history also matters at the time of stamping even if you are carrying documents.

FTE - working at H1B sponsor location

EC-working at H1B sponsor's client location

EVC- working at third party client's location( That's the prime vendors client)

Check Part D - off-site assignment of H1-B benefeciaries and Question a if it's marked Yes - your employment model will be other than full-time (most cases).
