Anyone in similar situation? How many days may it take if you've faced this earlier or experiencing it now? VO said all documents okay and we dont need anything from you, we will let you know when you have to come or drop your passport. He was keeping the passport but I asked him to give it back to me as it only takes a day or two once they ask for passport. I dont want to be in a hanging situation. Accomodation: I am in a Hotel and would like someone to join me or can come and join you. Please let me know, my email address is cool dot virgovian at gmail dot com
venkatakt Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 Usually that is the case with 221g white form. people get emails from consulate with in couple hours or atleast on the same day asking for additional information if they need any. Assuming you replied to that email immediately with your client contact details consulate will send an email or call your client and ask questions to confirm employee-employer relation ship in most of the cases these questions are fixed there are some 6-8 questions. search for those questions in this forum in case you want to inform your client ahead what to expect from consulate and what are the acceptable answers. depending on how soon your client responds to the questionnaire it usually takes anywhere between 3-6 weeks to come to a decision on your application.

Currently on EVC model, Discussion was somthing like this VO: Good morning Me: Good Morn.. VO: How are you doing today. Me: Very good, Thank you , VO: Tell me about you company Me: XXX is a Software development company bla.... VO: What was your previous company Me: XXXX (FYI- I didn't say to VO what you see in this, it was a full time position with a American company, bascially client) VO: And previous Me: XXXXX (FYI- I didn't say to VO what you see in this, it was a full time position with a American company, bascially client) VO: And previous Me: XXXX ( Desi consulting) VO : why did you leave XXX ( Immediate previous) Me: I was entering into my 5th year of H1 B and They have not initiated my Green card process as promised due to internal issues. Although I have waited for 2 years. So It happend to take a call by finding a new oppurtunity. VO: Do you have your LCA? Me: Yes, and I was about get from my bundle of docs. VO: Can you get me LCA, I129 and...... Me: I was try to get the docs . VO: Let me write it down for you Me: OK VO: Wrote on Sticky pad, LCA, I129, Bank statements,W2s,Contracts,letters (client, vendor, employment) Me: I asked what contracts VO: Emp- vendor, Vendor -client, parallely started writing on paper( That was 221g form) Actually I do not have Vendor -client contract, but I do not want to sound negative at that point. Me: So I arranaged all the documents in order he requested. He didn't even bother to look at what I have submitted. VO: your application requires further review. Me: How long you think it will take approximately. VO: I don't know. I have seen 4 guys before me, carrying the white form 221g from the same counter 1 (Chinese guy).
