EB1A I-140 approved, What about I-485

Hi All,

My EB1A I-140 is approved recently on 30^th October. I also filled my I-485 concurrently with the I-140 petition (March 2012). My fingerprinting has also been completed long back in April, 2012. My I-485 priority date is 7^th March 2012. Now, according to USCIS website, they are presently processing the I-485 filled on 12^th March 2012. When I check the status of my I-485 on USCIS site, it just says that my case is accepted.

My question is should I contact USCIS regarding my I-485 processing (as it’s little past due) or should I wait for some time as its been only few days since my I-140 is approved. Also, is there anything else I have to do in this regard or they will automatically process my I-485.

Give it 4 more weeks. Then make an INFOPASS Appointment. I suspect you are being a tad impatient.
