amar14 Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 Hi, I am travelling to India this december and will appear for my interview. While filling up DS 160 I noticed that in one section they asked about my previous employment. Currently I work for company A and during January this year I tried to switch to Company B and worked with them for 2 weeks. But my H1B transfer to company B was denied and so I continued my work with Company A. So my question is, should I enter my 2 weeks of work experience with company B and if so, will that affect my stamping. Thank you
quest2010 Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 My opinion is that you should indicate that you worked with 'B' for 2 weeks. But I am not 100% sure and you should wait for responses from other folks on this forum as well.
krialta Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 One should not hide anything from USCIS at any case. Did employer B run paystub for 2 weeks? If yes, then USCIS could see it. Speak to an attorney with facts, they will guide you in right direction.
apoorv.khare Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 It make sense if you have 2 weeks of paystubs from them.
amar14 Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Posted November 2, 2012 If I do not mention, will the consulate have all my information during my interview. In other words, will they be able to see that I was paid from a different company B once.
krialta Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 why do you think they wont see it?? if you are not presenting the facts your case will be treated as fraud.
