Going for H1B Stamping for a small consultancy - Please advice

Hi,

I came to US in 2010 on H4 and on 2011 i was hired by a small consultancy who applied for my H1b, I have been working for the same client from Jan 2012 today. I need to get my H1 B visa stamped, is it possible for me to get it stamped in Vancuver Canada? I do not have a masters in US. i have read that

Please advice if the following documents are sufficenient enough or anything else more is required:

  • Appointment letter
  • DS-156
  • DS-157
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Original I-797 A
  • I-129, Petition for Nonimmigrant worker
  • H Classification Supplement to Form I-129
  • H-1B Data Collection and Filing Fee Exemption Supplement
  • Labor Condition Application for H-1B & H-1B1 Non immigrants LCA
  • H1B Visa Petition letter provided by your employer
  • Employment Verification letter
  • Client Letter dated for my work till Oct 2013
  • Pay stubs atleast last 3 months
  • Monthly bank statements.
  • Travel itinerary (if going for stamping from U.S. to Canada or Mexico)
  • Visa Interview Fees slips
  • Current Employer
  • Offer letter
  • Resume
  • Sample company projects documents and some documents describing what your company does
  • Employment Verification letter
  • W2 Tax forms (atleast last 2 years)
  • Tax returns 1040′s .
  • If living in U.S. – take copies of utility bills, rental agreement or home deed.
  • Photograph taken within company with your co workers ( if possible badge and company name visible)
  • Details of the candidate's Social Security Number (if applicable).

Any conversion i.e., H4 to H1, F1 to H1, L1 to H1 can attend in any consulate in Canada. Norms will be for a country rather than for a consulate particularly within one country.

NOTE: These type of conversion visa applicants cannot attend in any consulate located in Mexico irrespective of consulate in Mexico.
