Can we go to Canada for First Time H1-B stamping ?

Hi,

Here is my scenario . I came to US on l1 Visa then i moved on to H1-B after an year by applying COS. From then i am working on H1-B . SO i have only L1 Visa stamping in my Passport and no H1-B stamping. But have a valid I94 and I797 for H1-B.

Right now i am working on a EC model.

Can i go to Canada for my H1-B stamping if yes what are the Questions i might expect?

Yes you can, Coming to questions, if one knows what IO would ask, everybody will get visa!! L1 has more screening than H1 so you should know better.

I am also in the same situation. Please advise should we go Canada or India for first time stamping from L1 - to H1.
