Need Urgent Help/Advise!!! Got 221(G) in E-mail requesting some documents to submit@Vancouver, Canada

Hi All,

My hubby attended the interview on 18th Oct, 2012.

He is on EVVC model.

VO asked simple and straight forward questions like

who is your employer?

what does your employer do?

are you getting pay on time?

Then VO went through the computer screen for 10-12 min. and then said

"need to verify some more information with the employer"

and given Instructions page to check the visa application status.

On 22nd Oct, 2012 he got an email requesting the below documents to submit at the consulate.

- Notarized list of all the Petitioner’s employees, their position title, legal status in US, salary and job location.

- Petitioner’s unemployment Wage reports since 3rd quarter 2011

- Employment contract/agreement between you and your Petitioner

- If there are vendors between your petitioner and your end client, please supply the contracts

- W2 for 2011

- Paystubs since November 2011

- Bank Statements since Feb 2012

- I-129

- LCA

He submitted the requested documents on 24th Oct, 2012 at the Consulate.VO told that he will get

an email update to attend for the second round of interview. But till now didnt get any email from them.

Is this something normal? Please let me know if you or your friends have come across same situation.

Right now, my hubby still in canada waiting for the email udpate.

Need Suggestion/Advise from you people.

I think it's better to find a new employer rather than simply sitting in Canada and wasting time. This below link might help you,

No worries, after sending them documents the process may take 2 weeks for getting your PP back.

Hey, guys don't get disappointed. I got my visa approved 3 weeks back in ottawa where i received 221g and it took 2 weeks to come back to US. As of my information from my friends it's taking 1 to 2 months of processing time in Vancouver if you receive 221g as there is huge rush for the interviews.
