H1b visa class under Buisness/Tourism visa category?

Hi All,

My employer booked my h1b slot and in visa appointment confirmation letter, visa category mentioned as "business and tourism' is this correct or it should be 'Temporary work’ or something problem from the new system.

Its been a while I have seen the category list, Business and Tourism is most likely for B1/B2. Check what is the visa class listed, if it is anything other than H1-B then you may have to cancel and reschedule.

I hope for H1B, Visa Category: Working in the USA. is more appropriate. Anyone who attended visa interview recently may comment.

Check the visa class and speak to your employer once again about the category.
