JoeF Posted October 30, 2012 Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 If the H1 was a COS, i.e., the approval notice has an I--94 at the bottom, you are in H1 status from the date on that I-94 on. You have to stop working for the L1 employer before that date, and you have to start working for the H1 employer. Link to comment
