Will I have to join new company immediately or does USCIS allow some grace period, to serve notice to my current employer and join a new company after few days? Link to comment

GNH Posted October 25, 2012 Report Share Posted October 25, 2012 You do not even have to leave your current company right away because you have a H1 transfer approved.The transfer does not mean that your current H1 is invalidated.You can leave when you want and join the new company as long as the new I-797 is still valid.Just do not have too much of a gap between leaving 1st and joining the 2nd position.
