ksri.ad
Hi All, I will be travelling to Canada to get a new I-94. Basically I got my Indian passport renewed here in SFO and now I need to get a new I-94 since my old I-94 was expiring on the date of my old passport. When I fill the Canada TRV form, it asks for country of issue while filling the passport details. And this is a dropdown so I need to select the country. My Indian passport was renewed in SFO so is this question in context to geographical country or the country responsible for your passport. Please help specially if someone has been through this scenario. Sri. Link to comment

amarpolimera
I stay in SFO went to San Diego by flight, took car from airport, went to POE parked car on US side. Walked down to Mexico and got my new I 94 without any hassle. No need to get Canadian visa and all. Link to comment
krialta
If you have visa and if just I94 is expiring because of passport expiry date, one could file I539 for extension of stay. Link to comment
