Can i go to stamping to Canada

hi all,

I came to USA for Master's. I completed it in 1 1/2 year and immediately filed for my first H1B. I have not travelled outside USA during these 5 years (MS and 1st H1B). I got my second H1B approved and i am planning to go to Canada for stamping. I heard from people that for first time stamping that i have to go to home country ? is that true ? if not, Can i go to canada ? Thanks and waiting for your inputs.

Yes you can ....but be prepared to travel directly to India if the VO finds a reason to deny .... There is always a chance so prepare for the worst but pray for the best!!Good luck!!
