Calgary Admin Processing Oct-02 2012

Had my L1 visa interview at Calgary US consulate on Oct 02, After the interview VO told me that "we are recommending your Visa but we need to conduct administrative processing. We will notify you once the processing is complete. It will take 2-3 weeks” and handed back our Passport with a white paper (Administrative processing).

After that I have contacted consulate couple of times, but same reply "pending completion of Admin processing"

Staying in calgary... 16 days and counting...

Now a day how long it takes to get the response from consulate.

Im waiting for the same.. my interview was on Oct 9th, Calgary. Do let us know if you hear back from the consulate.

I moved to east coast after a week.

Not yet. 20 days and counting.

My canada visitor visa is going to expire on oct-30, thought of extending or go back to my home country and wait there.

I had my H1B Visa Interview on OCT 23rd in calgary, VO said that "we are recommending your Visa but we need to conduct administrative processing" Handed me the white document with adminstrative process, she didn't ask me for any documents during the interview or on the peice of paper given to me.

Gave back my passport, kept my I797.

Does ant one know the processing time in such cases

Today I got email from US consulate to submit my passport. Am going to submit it by tomorrow.

Good Luck, Did they ask for any other docs in between or this the first email received from them.

because the lady asked me to wait for the email
