Need Advice Urgent: New H1

Hello Everyone,

I am currently in US on H4. My H1 was approved on 10th Oct 2012(Premium). My lawyer said that I cannot join the company until my employer receives the approval courtesy copy(i797C). Its already been more than a week, I haven’t heard back from them. I have been on H4 for 15 months, and waiting like crazy.

Please advice if its compulsory to have i797C to join the new job?? Are there any alternatives to expedite the process?

Its just soo crazy that I’m still waiting inspite getting the approval.

You need I-94 in your hand. No option but to wait. In US immigration process, patience is necessary for your sanity.
