I-140 in process and extension

Please help me to understand. My Labor is already approved and we have file I-140 in Feb. My I-797 says my visa is finishing on Feb 28th 2013.

Am I eligble for Exension? I am just too much worried.

I think you can get 1 year H1B extension based on pending I-140, and 3 year H1B extension if you have an approved I-140.

Yes, you will get one year extension based on PERM approval and if you get 1-140 approval then you can apply for 3 year extension. You are lucky having approved PERM.

One gets one year H1 extensions beyond the norm if PERM is pending 365 days plus or I-140 is pending 365 days plus. If i-140 is approved 3 year H1 extensions are allowed. By itself getting PERM approved gives no benefit vis a vis the H1.
