asma410
Hello, i just realized that i sent the expired I-94 copy to my lawyer for H1 renewal last month. The numbers are exactly the same on old & new i-94 cards & i havent traveled out of the country during this period. Checked the status online & it says the petition is under process. Scared that it might cause issues. I already notified my lawyer & awaiting his reply. Has anyone does this before & did it cause any issues?? Help!! Link to comment
SameerH1Bworker
No issue at all. All petitions whether that is regarding H1B transfer, I-140 or other petition I sent to USCIS, every time attorney asked to specifically the I-94 which was given at POE & she specifically asked do not send I-94 which is attached to the bottom of any H1B transfer approval notice. USCIS needs the one which was issued at POE & their system they've your updated I-94. So, you're perfectly fine. Do not worry. Link to comment
