czxinusa
According to the checklist of Canada visa application (page 2 of the below link), it requires to “explain the purpose of your trip - details of your itinerary in Canada, provisional travel arrangements (airline or hotel booking)”. Could someone explain what detailed itinerary I should attach with my application? Do I need to list daily activities during my trip to Canada? Could someone share a sample itinerary? Many thanks in advance! http://www.canadaint...as/52_1_eng.pdf Link to comment
feb27@ottawa
All you need is a flight trip itinerary and a hotel stay booking. You need not buy them but just get an itinerary via email from a travel agency. This should suffice. Link to comment
Aravind35
I guess it is not necessary to submit any details of itinerary. I have not submitted any. But I did submit my visa appointment letter in those documents. I have neither booked my flight or hotel. Link to comment
saxena638
Travel itinerary: 1) Traveling from X, USA to Y-Canada by Flight (airline) on this date (attach a ticket if you have one or book a refundable one and cancel after printing it out). If driving, say so. If driving a rental car attach rental reservation. 2) Accommodation at hotel, name, and cost of the room on this date (attach a reservation print out). 3) What you will be doing next day. 4) If you are staying in Canada one more night, or a few more days-repeat steps 2 and 3 for each one. 5) Return date and ticket. If you are sending your application by mail, there is no way to know when you are going to get your passport with visa back. So best way is to chart out your plans with no confirmed reservations (unless you are applying for a visa months ahead) . If you are applying in person, having everything confirmed helps since you know you'll get your visa on the same day or the next. All the best. P.S.Wait for a day or two. Someone else may post a better plan. Link to comment
dishitha
No you dont need to provide an itenary. You can just mention as Tourisim or visiting the cosulate for visa stamping and show the required financial proof like Bank Statements, Pay Stubs, Employement verification letters. Link to comment
WiseTravel
i would recommend to make your own template.. Search for Travel Itinerary excel template.. (There are lot of them) I used following and changed as requried http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/business-trip-itinerary-TC006088394.aspx Include following information on itinerary.. (It is only planned itinerary) > Time, Date, Expenses, Location. > Inculde departure, arrival dates/ time from Canada. > Include fun things you would do in Vancourver like Stanley park, whale watching, etc.. > Our purpose of travel is "H1 B stamping and Tourism".. This is what I wrote in application I attached my flight ticket as well. I attended in person and submitted my docs at Los Angeles Canadian consulate and picked up my passport next. No questions were asked on either days. Link to comment
