anyone is attending stamping in ottawa on 31st july? do you guys know any good hotels near consulate? I have US drivers licence, can i rent the car and drive in canada?

I'm planning to get my H-1B stamped in Canada later this year. I still need to apply for a Canada visa.

As I've started looking for related info. I found that: you can rent/drive a car in Canada, with a US driver's license.
