kalyanz Posted July 10, 2012 Report Share Posted July 10, 2012 Hi, Does anyone going to H1B stamping (COS from F1 to H1B) in september whose H1b comes into effective from October 1st please share your email addresses I had some questions. From which date of september can we go for H1b Stamping. Does it will show any impact if we go before as H1b starts from october. Please let me know. I am not able to decide. Originally I thought to go in september last week (if not in october 1st week) but as some friends said it would be better if I have two paystubs run on h1b I am thinking again. But my thinking was to go in sept last week Please give your suggestions. Link to comment

WiseTravel Posted July 11, 2012 Report Share Posted July 11, 2012 Chakri, you can go to stamping any time in september and come back to US after september 20th.. as per USCIS. But.. I would suggest you to wait as long as possible... unless if you are emergency to go to India. Even If So, delay it till December or January.. you have proof of pay stubs, So VO has easier means of verifying your H1, your employmnent, your employer and so on.. Just my perspective and knowledge, there is no right way... risk vs time.. Link to comment
