meet_prem007
Hi I am currently on H-1B and working on a project at client location. I have visa valid till 30 September 2012. My employer already applied for my extension and it is in initial review stage and i am expecting to have my extension in Augest month. I have to go to India for first two weeks in September,2012 for a project. If i travel to India for a project in September, do i have to go for H-1b visa stamping again? Consulate put my case on administrative processing last year when i travelled to India for family function. Regards, Meet Link to comment
giri26
If you return before the 30th of September (The day you mentioned your visa is going to expire), you don't have to go for stamping. Make sure you land in US before the 30th. If you stay beyond 30th of September then yes you need to go for stamping again. Link to comment
