H1B extension - I-140 applied on EB-1

Hi

My H1-B is expiring in Aug 2012. My company is filing my GC under EB-1. I-140 will be applied in a weeks time?

1. Can I apply for H1 extension for 7th year based on I-140 approval notice?

2. If not, after I go back to India and my I-140 is approved after that, can I apply for extension on the same H1 based on I-140 approval?
