Form 9089

Hi Group,

I just changed my project and joined a new project at new location. and my PERM is also abut to be filed. My employer is asking me to sign a form called 9089. I just wanted to check what this form is for.

I also filed my PERM and we got a query to send a reason why i cant work from home and needs travelling. My employer has sent me the filled form 9089 and asked me to sign it and send it to him.

I dont understand why he is asking again the form 9089 to be signed as it was done during filing of the form 3 months ago. As far as I know if any query comes its employers work is to reply to the query, 9089 signature by me and sending it again doesnt make any sense to me.

Can ask my employer to give me a copy of the DoL query.

Plz suggest.

Can any one please reply that if I can ask my employer to give me a copy of the DoL query. And he has to give me the copy of query if I ask, or it is employers decision whether to send me a copy or not.

I doubt that they will oblige. But you can ask. Hopefully you did not spend any money on the process.
