murthyuser123
when did you get this email?...also what kind of slip you got and what docs were asked? r u EVC / EC/ FT? Link to comment
CodeVISA
As per my knowledge, Consulate has to receive the same about your status from USCIS.Becoz, Consulate is the one who requested USCIS to reconsider your petition. Also, your PIMS data also need to be updated. then only consulate will ask you to come back for interview with reaffirmed petition. All this take a while. Link to comment
Vivekb333
@CodeVISA Any idea how long PIMS data takes time to update ,almost it is more than 2& 1/2 months Is there a way out where my sponser can approach to expedite the process ? @murthyuser123 I am FT, yellow 221g with no docs asked , just few days back i rec'd this email Link to comment

Also your employer can get in touch with the USCIS or the Consulate (themselves or thru the Senator respectively) to check if the consulate has recvd the PIMS. As per my knowledge it shouldnt take more than 1 to 1 1/2 months or at the max 2 months for the same. This is based on my experience reading people's posts on the same. Good luck & hope you get the visa.. Link to comment
