LCA asked at chennai consulate

Hi,

Need your help. I went for visa interview today. Though all went well, the lady asked for LCA . I was not having that at that time. She asked me send the LCA along with passport for stamping.

Question is , do i need to send Original of LCA or get a copy and send to consulate through VFS for stamping ?

LCA is one of important documents required for Interview. I don't know how can you miss that document for interview. You can send the copy of LCA.

Your employer is required by law to give you a copy of the LCA, when you started working there.

Use that copy (you have it, do you?)

You will get a copy of LCA from your employer. Submit this copy to VFS along with your passport.
