gc_giri227
Hi, My husband is has nearly 12 months left on His H1B visa (6th year en. I am on H4 visa. His client now wants to Hire Him as a full time employee. My husband client is a major bank and say it may take atleast 2 months to start the contractor to employee conversion and then apply the LCA/I-140 etc... My husband did not request His current employer to file for green card. We were planning to return to India once My husbands 6th year is over. But Client is not willing to let My husband go because of the critical projects He is working. So given the situation with just 10 months left from the day the new employer may file for LCA and then I -140.. Will My husband get 7th year extension ? (My Husbands I-94 expires July 15th 2013) Please advice on this. Link to comment
pontevecchio
It may be possible to recapture time or even take a couple of months off to retain time. He should disacuss the matter with the company. Link to comment
