rok3110
I am considering applying to renew my H1-B visa stamp in Ottawa in July. My current H1-B stamp was approved in Dubai after a few weeks of 221(g) administrative processing in February 2011. I was told that the 221(g) administrative processing lasts two years. Does that mean that I won't have to get administrative processing if I apply in July 2012 in Ottawa? And how long does it take for a visa to be stamped and delivered in Ottawa if immediately approved? Also does anyone know if there are visa appointment times available for July 16th in Toronto? Thank you in advance! Link to comment
saxena638
I am not sure of H1B but there are people on J1 who got 221g each time they attended interview (chennai consulate) within a span of eleven months. Link to comment
giri26
I don't think there is anything which stops the officers from giving you 221 G every time you go out of the country if they feel they need to do additional processing. As far as I know there is nothing like validity period for 221G. Link to comment
