bkrishna2001
Hi, I came to US recently.I got a visa stamped upto Jan 1st 2015. But, My I-94 expiry was dated as Nov 9, 2013. This is the expiry date of the passport. How can I extend my I-94 date? If I am planning to transfer my H1b to another company, does new H1b will get new i-94? What if my new H1b is denied, still I can stay in US and work for old employer? What if I get my new i-797 without I-94, should i need to go out of US and get it stamped or reenter to US with old visa? What if I get my new i-797 with I-94, can I travel to india and come back with my old visa and new I-797? Thanks for the help Link to comment
pontevecchio
1. Yes. In all likelihood. 2. Until Nov,9. 3. You can re-enter with the old visa 4. In this case you do not have to travel unless you want to. A valid H1 visa can be used with any other employers approved H1 Petition. Link to comment
