veeresh.rcr
Hi, Am currently in US, My L1 B Visa is expired but I have valid I-94 till 2015, So now want to bring my Family to US. ASAP. Currently my Wife & Kid are in India. 1. Based on My I-94 both my wife & Kid can go for stamping in India 2. If my employer files extension for me. Based on my extension paper they can go for stamping 3. While filling my extension paper, I need to mention my family details ( Wife & Kid - Information ) 4. Is there any other option ? Please advise me. Thanks Reddy. Link to comment
Madhavi Kukkala
As per my understanding, Stamps on L2 will get based on L1. It doesn't matter if you have extended paper. you need to get stamp first and then they can get. Link to comment
Attorney_23
A foreign national may generally apply for an L2 visa if his/her spouse is in valid L1 status. Ordinarily, a forein national does not need to have an unexpired visa in order to be in valid L1 status. Link to comment
