Asyed4812
Hi, I came to Canada for H1b stamping and got 221 g for administrative processing. I am here since past two months and i am still waiting. Embassy is not sure how long it gonna take. So i would like to know if i can update my single entry visa to multiple entry visa from Canada ( I want to know if i can update my single entry to multiple entry visa without leaving Canada). Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks Link to comment
saxena638
Hi, I am not sure whether you can change your single entry visa to multiple entry one while in Canada. You can extend the period of TRV. Here is the link for that <http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend-stay.asp>. Call 1-888-242-2100 to case processing centre: Vergreville, Alberta. They may give you some information. Please post the details if you get any more information regarding this. Link to comment
mirage09
Most likely, it is not possible. Email the canadian consulate (the one that you used to obtain the canadian visa) and confirm. Your best bet is to return to the home country, apply for a new canadian visa and ask for expedited processing. Link to comment
