If the application for immigration benefit (131, 765 or 485) is pending past the uscis posted processing times, what are the sequence of steps leading to infopass appointment?

Is the first step calling cis customer service and raising SR?

If it is more than 30 days past then yes you can call customer care & they'll explain it.

If you raise a SR first I suspect they will make you wait for 3o days. I would first do an INFOPASS and then id asked to raise a SR.

Sorry. I meant make an INFOPASS appointment first and then if asked to, raise a service request.

If necessary make up some valid reason.

infopass online asks for SR to be pending for 45 days. Unless there is another way to raise infopass.

I am able to go two or three steps into the process and if I choose "need information" it lets me continue and beyond that I cannot go. Try it out and if no joy file a SR.
