On Canada stamping

Hi folks, I have been an old member of this forum and has been fortunate enough to get advised by many gurus on immigration issues. My case : EVC model working for a big firm in USA (not sure if they would give client letter), also awaiting Eb2 dates to be alive with a priority date of Mar-2009. Now i have to travel to india for my sister's marriage in December and would require stamping as i have changed employer and my current visa is ending in December itself. Also i have USA Masters (MBA) from a reputed school.

Question is - Whether to go to Canada and get stamping or to travel to india for stamping. If at all, i choose Canada and if VO asks - Why did you come to Canada for stamping, what can be a legitimate answer?

Can you some of you share such experience (if at all this Question was asked)

It is ok to go to canada for stamping. The question will be asked while applying for canada visting visa and you can answer there itself that you are going to canada for visa stamping. Nothing wrong in going to canada for stamping as it is close to USA and they allow people to come for stamping. Dont mention you will be going to India soon.
