PIMS Verification email from Ottawa consulate

Hi

I have my appointment on July 3rd so I have sent an email to Ottawa consulate and PIMS@state.gov to verify whether my petition is updated in PIMS or not and I got the response below from Ottawa consulate.

"We do not provide PIMS verification. We automatically send PIMS information in generally a week ahead of an applicant's appointment date. We do not however check for verification. That will be done on the day you present your application and petition information. If there is no PIMS then you may be delayed an extra 2-3 days before your visa can be issued."
