test1234_test1234 Posted June 25, 2012 Report Share Posted June 25, 2012 Guys , I had my visa interview today and I wasnt given any kinda of slip(blue , green , pink) ... They took my I-797 (original) , my appointment letter (cofirmation page) , the payment receipt , letters from my employers ( 1 from HR and the other from my direct manager) , and my passport. They didnt give me any indication that there was anything negative about my application .... so overally I was quite pleased .... they did say that my info i.e. my I-797 approval has not yet been updated in their system ... not sure what they meant by that , they said that they will send an email to "washington" and will ask them to update my information .... The person at counter 1 told me this could take anything between a day or 2 ... the lady over at counter 4 let me know that if I do not hear back from them by early next week to email them and inquire ... Do anyone of you know what to make out of this has anyone else had similar experiences ? Link to comment

test1234_test1234 Posted June 25, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 25, 2012 Thanks guys this is what my lawyer said too , he said the department of state has instructed consular posts that they must verify the details of an approved H1b petition through PIMS via the consular consolidated database the officers apparentyl access the database in a PIMS report which links the 2 ... KCC apparently has to create that link and they may have not yet done that ... My main concern question is does this mean that my visa will get stamped or do I still have to be unsure .... test1234_test1234 Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 28, 2012 Guys , I gave my interview on 6/25 Monday and I still havent got an email from them , what I just want to know is , "Do I just need to wait and be patient ? WIll it get stamped eventually? " or do I need to be worried .... ? I do not want to email them too soon as well as I dont want to get them upset .... but then again I am not sure of how long I need to wait before I email them ... Link to comment

I read on other posts that 99.99 % of the time if you have been told that it is just PIMS verification then u will get it u just have to be patient ... regarding client letter I just had letters from my company's HR and one from my direct maanger ...I didnt get any from my "clients" cause I dont deal with them directly my company does via a SOW ... so I was told by my company not to go with one ... and right enought it was just that ... I just told them that I am working for "my" company and not for a "client" .... Link to comment
