Job change after GC

Gurus, in reading through various other forum threads there is conflicting information on the timeframe and ability to change jobs after receiving GC...

How is the job mobility after receiving GC ..(ideally one should be free to move..correct) ?

How much time should one be with the sponsoring employer after GC ?

Are their any things to watch for if one decides to switch employers within 5-6 months of receiving GC ?

At the time of getting the GC, you have to have the intent to work for the employer indefinitely.

"Indefinitely" doesn't mean forever, but you can't have plans to change jobs at that time.

It is your intent that matters.

Generally, it is recommended to stay with the employer for at least 6 months after getting the GC.

Agree with JoeF. 6 months is a decent period.
