Canda Embassy DC not giving Visiting Visa

I went to canada embassy today..they are not doing visiting visas anymore.

I was able to get visa via mail from Detroit. It took 14 days.

I mailed my application to DC and was received by them on 15th June.... Will they accept those application which came before 18th June and get it processed?

Guys, I'm not understanding what's going on? Do you all mean that Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC is not issuing visitor visa to third country nationals completely or closed for few days due to any problem in their office. Can anyone pls let me know the issue. Thanks in advance!!

I went to Washington, DC office in October and got visitor visa without any problem at that time.

Yes luck2u - Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C will no longer be issuing visitor visa to foreign nationals. Instead consulates in N.Y, L.A would issue.
