Hi All,

I got deportation on 11th Jan 2010 (Due to Employee-Employeer Memo Issue on 9th Jan 2010) and it was removed on Jun 2011 through Lawyer.

Now I have got New H1B FY 2012 approval with same company. How to prepare for H1B Visa Interview at Mumbai and which documents required to support regarding deport resolution.

I'm filling DS160 form, there is question

has your us visa been cancelled or revoked ?

What should be my answer ? (Yes or No)

at deportation time, they wrote ER 212(a)(7)(A)(i)(I) New 01/11/2010 on privious employer visa stamp, which is valid upto 07/30/2010

Say yes to that question and give the details when it happened. Always tell the truth.

Visa is the rectangle stamp what you get on passport. It doesn't ask about H1b status or COS rejection. The answer is yes if you appeared for visa stamping and it was cancelled or revoked for some reason. This question helped them to know if you were denied to enter in USA anytime.

I read your post. can you please update on what happened to your case? did you get a new h1b stamp? I am currently in the same situation. my h1b was cancelled at POE in january because the cbp oficer could not establish an employer employee relation ship. I then found a full time job with one of the otther companies. they did my h1 and it is approved for 3 yrs. I went for stamping at the chennai consulate and after 2 hrs of interview was given a 221 g as the visa officer needs complete description of my project. My employer is working on this document and I am waiting to submit this at the VFS. Can you please tell me if there are any chances?
