reddyz Posted June 19, 2012 Report Share Posted June 19, 2012 Hi I came to US with F1 visa in the year 2007 and did my masters in California My first H1b filled in 2009 on master's degree quota and it was approved without any issues ,but i never went to stamping ,since it was not required i did filled for H1b extension in may 2012 and it was approved for another 3years (starting from sep 23rd) ,now i am planning to go for stamping to Canada (thinking about Ottawa) My question here is : 1.My current h1b expires on Sep 23rd 2012(receipt number : EAC ************) and the new one starts on Sep23rd 2012 as well (receipt number : WAC ***********) ,can i go for stamping in next month (i.e in month of July 2012 ) with new h1b receipt number ? will there be any issues ?
