Exit US ? Currently on B2 filed for H1B

Hi,

I've filed for H1B on 06/01/12 and await decision. Current visa status is B1/B2 and I-94 expires on 07/03/12.

1) Do I need to file for an extension on B1/B2?

2) Should I exit before 07/03/12?

Please advise urgently.

Exit, as it is advisable to have H1B stamping done as soon as possible.
