L1 to H1 b transfer

Hi Sir,

I am in USA on L1b Visa with Company A and i have L1b VISA and I94 till May 2014.

Now Company B have applied my H1b visa and did not applied COS while applying.

1)Can Company B apply my cos after approval if i have a I94 till May 2014 before OCT 1st 2012 incase if i get approval through Consular process.

2)Should i immediately go back to india .IF my H1b gets approved.

3)If the above is not possible.If i go to india and come back without going for stamping for H1b to india.

Can i come back again on L1b.

4)can company B apply COS after i return on L1 here.
