H1B stamping timeline- Chennai

Hello-

I recently went for stamping in Chennai and here is the timeline. I work for a huge company.

Interview date: 23rd June 2012

Received a pink with case number. Pink slip also mentioned that processing time will be 4-6 weeks

Received passport with stamped visa: 8th June 2012

From what Ive heard the US Consulates are handing out pink slips a lot these days. Some get cleared a lot sooner than later. I know its a huge pain because everything seems grey for those days that you have to wait but it will come with time.

Its good that Consulate did mess with your time line like the way you messed it yourself.
