akshay1121
Demend data was released for July 2012 There is a demand prior to Dec 2010 of 17,500 for EB2. If there is a spillover of 18,000 this year from EB1 to EB2. (assumption) Does this mean that a Dec 2009 EB2I date 485 application will get picked up for final processing as soon as that happens? Experts please advice Thanks Link to comment
tusharvk
I think we have a huge inventory prior to the date you are mentioning. The demand data has been observed to be quite unreliable (see posts on this topic on the forum). Link to comment
gorantlamk
Those numbers are for applications pending visa numbers. There are several thousands of applications pending processing, which would be completed by the end of Sepetember. It is belived that There are close to 60k application in total. I am not trying to pour water on ur hopes. But thats the reality. i am waiting as well. Lets hope some thing good happens. Link to comment

gorantlamk
17k is only cases pending visa approval there are so many cases from jan, Feb, March, and Apr that are not yet processed, you will get more than 60k, wait until sep to see that number., i m conservative with that number.
