kasede
Hi, I applied AOS for me and family on mar/20/2012.(PD is Feb 2 ,2009). We received the receipt notice from Nebraska center for my wife and me yesterday ,where as , my daughter's receipt notice (denied ) was from Texas center. Our application was send to one service center as a family AOS file. Even my attorney says that it is weird that cases for members from same family is processed at 2 different centers. Any opinions or any body in the similar situation ?. My daughter's petition was denied and sent back because of incorrect cheque amount. My attorney says that once we receive all her papers back we can send back again with the correct amount. My attorney is not giving a clear answer whether my daughter's AOS papers will be sent to Texas or our(parent's) service center (Nebraska). Any sugession/ opinions. Regards. Link to comment
Belle
Well, how about you leave it to the USCIS on how they process the petitions. Link to comment
BigJoe5
From what you say, it may boil down to an error at the lawyer's office. You might never know for sure. Link to comment
Belle
It's obviously an error on lawyer's side. They just try to buzz your ear with stupid stuff to distruct you. Link to comment
