7th Year extn and Transfer

I have approved 140 with company A and got 7th year extension for 1 year. Is there any possibility of getting 3 year extension if I take employment with a new company?

Generally, as long as a Beneficiary’s priority date is not current they will be eligible for H1B extensions in three year increments. If the priority date is current the Beneficiary is eligible for H1B extensions in one year increments. However, even when an individual is eligible for a three year extension, USCIS will make the determination on a case-by-case basis after review of the documentation supplied with the H1B petition.
