H1B rejected, trying for F1--- please advise

Hi All,

I did my Masters from San Jose state university and got H1 approval last October 2011.

I came to India in Jan 2012 and went for H1B stamping.

As I work in EVC model, I got 221G query and recently rejected.

I am not finding any new employer to transfer or file a new h1 from India.

So Can I apply for F1 visa now? If so what is probability of getting visa.

What kind of question may be expected in the interview?

Please advise

Thank you

-> you can, but chances are extremely low as you have proven prior duel intent (that includes immigrant intent) by applying for H1 visa before. Not to discourage you but if you have the option try for another employer or if you have H4 option go for that instead.

Did you find out from your vendor or client ,that did someone from USCIS tried to contact them regarding your H1 visa?

I guess they have contacted your client after two months from the date of your interview.
