COS From F1 - H1b | First time Stamping on H1 after 4 years

Hello Gurus of Forum,

I have booked my VISA slot at Vancouver Canada on June 7 2012.

This is my first time stamp my H1-B and I have been on H1B Status since Oct 2008.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and attended Stamping at Vancouver?

I know questions can be generic, but Please suggest any questions that you have encountered in this situation for me to be prepared

Please share any experiences or Advise you can offer.

Have not visited any other Country for the Past 6 Years.

What Can I answer when the Visa Officer asks,

" Why havent you attended the VISA Interview even Once in the past 6 Years ??? "

Please help in answering my question.

Hello Varun,

I am in the similar situation now as you were. I got my first H1 in 2009 and recently received the extension for another 3yrs. I am planning to visit India now after 5yrs, so this would be my first H1 stamping. Could you please share what kind of questions can we expect at the consulate for our situations?

esp: "Why havent you attended the VISA Interview even Once in the past 6 Years". Hoping to hear back from you.
