EAD/AP Renewal

Hi,

So far my company lawyer was filing EAD and AP and represent in G28 form.

I am changing company and soon I need to file for my EAD/AP.

If I file myself do I need to fill any G28 form?

Do I need to go through new company Lawyer as they are going to file my new GC under EB2?

You don't need any G28 to file an EAD/AP extention yourself. You will need to fill out G28 for your new lawyer to change representation on your pending I-485 case.

By the way, filing G28 does not mean that only the attorney can take actions on your petition. G28 gives the attorney to act on your behalf - i.e. call the USCIS, file petitions, RFE responses, etc. However, it does not take away your right to act as yourself and do the same.
