EB3 to EB2 portability with pending I-140/AOS - 7th yr extension H-1B

Hi we have submitted request to retain PD of and approved EB3 (2005) to EB2 filed concurrently with AOS. Need to extend H-1B post 6th year now, how do we do that? Can we use EB3 approval notice for beyond 6th year extension of H-1B even though it (EB3 was used to request the rentention of PD for EB2)?

yes, you can use your approved EB3 I-140 for H1 extension even if you use it to port PD (EB3 I-140 remains valid).
