Is it get rejected/return or get accepted as a alternative to Department of Homeland Security. How to get a receipt date. Is it couried recived date? So far, I did not receive receipt for my EAD application. Looks like, it probably lost in transit. We had received six receipt numbers from the email notification from USCIS sent to my wife. Does it really matter if I need to possess the copies of all the notices, or its just an acknowledgement confirming acceptance? Link to comment

INDNewYork Posted March 26, 2012 Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 It is confirmed on friday that EB2 cutoff is going back to Aug 15, 2007 in 10 days. A big JAIHIND to all EB2 applicants by USCIS... I think we can cancel this thread. Not even EAD or AP is also a doubt now. I know they are parallel processed but given the volume of applicants for EAD and AP, I am in seruous doubt. Link to comment

If you and your spouse filed based on YOUR priority date and you selected '(b)' in Part 2 of the I-485 application of your spouse, then what you indicated is true. The spouse PD on receipt should be the application receipt date. I confirmed with my lawyer about this. Link to comment

Even the fastest approvals we have seen are taking at least 2.5 months. What if the visa numbers are available but they are not able to adjudicate 485 by April 30? Link to comment

I was hoping to sign up for automatic status updates by text/email, since I will be out of town. Is other March filers able to see status online?
