H4 B Visa Transfer

I transferred on H1B from Company A to B and my visa is valid till 2013. However my wife's visa still shows company A's name, but is valid till 2013

I was told by my company lawyer that she would not require to change her visa as her visa is valid till 2013 and is valid as it is dependent on my visa.

I have doubts about this because the visa officer will ask her up on entry as to why her visa still shows my old employer's name.

I would like to know if she needs to get a new visa stamp this time she visits India and also if any more steps are necessary while she visits India.

Any help is appreciated.

Your lawyer is right, she can come back on the existing visa.No new visa required till 2013.
