H1 to L1B and now looking for H1

I had H1B for 2 years and then my visa status was changed to L1B. I will be finishing 5 yrs on L1 soon.

Can I apply for H1B without the cap?

If yes, then can I stay for another 4 yrs (6 yr limit)?

Please advise.

The time on H1 and L1 is combined. If you were on H1 for 2 years, and didn't be a year abroad before getting the L1, you would only be qualified for 3 years of L1. If you have more years, you are in big trouble already.

If you had 3 years on L1, you could change to H1 and get another year.
